N.B. Where the second Monday of a month is a public holiday, an alternative Monday is generally chosen for the meeting.
The five 'Beginners Meetings', a feature first introduced in the 1998/99 programme, are held on other Monday nights in the Perry Room at the same venue. 'Beginners Meeting Repeat' meetings have now been introduced in order to cover the more basic topics for novice members who have joined more recently. Typically, both types of beginners meetings are held on Mondays preceding or following the nearest main meeting Monday; the programme for this year shows the dates of both types of all the meetings.
If you are interested in joining the Society, you are welcome to come along to a meeting to see what the Society is like.
