| John Gillett photographed the California nebula, NGC 1499 in Perseus, and galactic star cluster M45, the Pleiades in Taurus, using a 135 mm camera lens and a deep-sky filter. He used Kodak E200 film, and an exposure of 15 minutes. Two exposures were stacked together using Picture Window to produce this image. |
