| John Gillett photographed the galactic star cluster Mel 15, its surrounding nebula I.1805 and the I.1795 diffuse nebula in Cassiopeia using a Takahashi Epslon 160 6" f/3.3 'scope and a Lumicon deep-sky filter. He used Kodak E200 film, and an exposure of 20 minutes. Two exposures were stacked together using Picture Window to produce this image. |
