North is at the top left of the image. The central meridian is at 246°.
The bright area on the perimeter of the visible Martian disk at 5 o' clock is the Hellas region, while the dark grey region immediately above it is the Mare Tyrrhenum. The grey region to its left is Syrtis Major. The grey region to the upper left of the disk is the Utopia region.
