| A large group of sunspots, imaged on 28 June 1999 at 08:18 UT by Ian Smith. Ian used a Celestron C8Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and a Starlight Xpress MX516 CCD camera at prime focus. A BaaderPlanetarium solar filter, an 0.96 neutral density filter and an infra red blocker were used; the exposure was 0.6 s. |
