| John Gillett photographed this diffuse nebula, NGC 1499 in Perseus (the California nebula), using a Takahashi Epslon 160 6" f/3.3 'scope and a Lumicon deep-sky filter. He used Kodak E200 film, and an exposure of 20 minutes. Two exposures were stacked together using Picture Window to produce this image. |
